Sustainability is more than just good business. A respectful approach to energy use, our environmental footprint, and a rigorous adherence to health and safety standards were our guiding principles when designing and building our plant.

We use passive solar water exchange for hot water and geothermal heating to keep us warm in the winter and cool in the summer. We test our ground water and leases frequently and use a grey water storage system. Our amphibious vehicle is designed to minimize the physical impact on the environment.

While we all like to think of ourselves as “owners”, the fact is that we’re all just passing through this world, and we believe that we need to leave it as good as we found it.
